Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu), Srinagar Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various disciplines for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidates must have passed master’s degree program in the concerned subject with minimum OGPA of 6.00 on 10.00 or 60% (in traditional system) from an institute/university recognized by the ICAR/UGC.
  
  
• Candidates having completed their master’s degree program by or before February 09, 2013 shall only apply for the admission.

• Candidates can download the application form from university website: www.skuastkashmir.ac.in.
  
  
• The applications to the admission notice available on university website must be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft for Rs.1040 for open category and Rs.2080/- (Rupees two thousand eighty only) for payment category seats, drawn in favor of Comptroller, SKUAST-K, payable at J&K Bank Ltd. SKUAST-K branch Shalimar. 

Selection Procedure

• The selections of candidates are done based on viva-voce test conducted by the university.
• No applicant shall be entertained or considered for screening/selection, if he/she has not completed his/her master’s degree program by 9^th Feb, 2013.
