Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Rangpo Invites Applications for Admission into BCA/MCA Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program offered at School of Basic and Applied Sciences and Master of Computer Application (MCA) program offered at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For BCA Program

• Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination with 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in Science, Arts & Commerce streams are eligible to apply.

For MCA Program

• Candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or bachelor’s degree in B.Sc (IT) /BCA from recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC) are eligible to apply.

• The prospectus is available from select branches SBI Bank and HDFC Banks till 31^st Jul, 2013.
  
  
• The prospectus can be purchased from Sikkim Manipal University, Admissions office by writing to the following address by enclosing a request along with a demand draft for Rs.600 drawn in the name of Sikkim Manipal University payable at Gangtok.

Selection Procedure

For BCA Program

• The selections of candidates are done based on entrance test conducted by SMU at SBAS.

For MCA Program

• The selections of candidates are done based on entrance test conducted by SMU at SMIT or MU-OET.
