University of Calicut, Malappuram Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time/part time Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Engineering for following streams:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Chemical Engineering 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates having post graduate degree with specialization in fields relevant to the aforementioned streams with at least 60% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) of this University or an equivalent degree recognized by University of Calicut are eligible.
  
  
• For SC/ST category pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient 

How to Apply

• The prescribed application form for the Ph.D (Engineering) along with original chalan receipt of fee remitted should reach the:
  
  Principal
  Govt. Engineering College
  Thrissur
  (P.O.) Engineering College
  Thrissur (Dist.) – 680009                                                        on or before 8^th Feb, 2013.
  
  
• The envelope containing the application should be super scribed with: “Application for PhD Program (Engineering).
  
  
• The candidates seeking admission under exempted category need to send the filled application form along with application fee of Rs.50.

Selection Procedure

• All candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a eligibility test conducted by the University.

• Last date for receipt of applications: 8^th Feb, 2013 (Friday)
• Date of eligibility test: 23^rd Feb, 2013 (Saturday)
