Kakatiya University, Warangal Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil/Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admissions into Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) program in various subjects and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in various faculties for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Phil

• Master degree of kakatiya university or any other recognized universities in the discipline concerned securing not less than 55% marks (5% relaxation in case of SC/ST/PH Categories) are eligible to apply and take the entrance test.

For Ph.D

• In all the faculties (Arts, Commerce and Business Management, Education, Engineering and Technology, Law, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences) a candidate is eligible for registration/admission if he/she has obtained a post graduate degree from a recognized university securing not less than 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH  candidates) at the post graduate degree. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
  
  
• Candidates are required to obtain a demand draft drawn in favor of Registrar, KUCET A/c, Kakatiya University, Warangal payable at S.B.H, KU branch, Warangal.
  
  
• The DD should be enclosed with application form and sent to O/o the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University, Warangal. 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected based on the entrance test conducted by the university. 

Important Dates

• Last date for receiving completed applications form: 27^th Feb, 2013 (Wednesday)
• Date of entrance examination for M.Phil (for all subjects): 23^rd Mar, 2013 (Saturday)
• Date of entrance examination for Ph.D (for all faculties): 24^th Mar, 2013 (Sunday)
