Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission into M.E/M.Tech Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Engineering/Master of Technology (M.E/M.Tech) programs offered in various specializations for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.E Program

• Bachelor's degree with 50% marks in appropriate field of Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree with valid GATE score are eligible to apply.

For M.Tech Program

• Candidates possessing a minimum of second class in the following qualifying degree with valid GATE score are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of Engineering/Technology
                     or
  Master’s degree in Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Instrumentation, Electronics   or master’s in Computer Application as applicable to the respective departments are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply and download the e-brochure and application form available online only by visiting the official website. 

Selection Procedure

For M.E Program

• The selections of candidates are done based on valid GATE score only.

For M.Tech Program

• The selections of candidates are done based on an aptitude test and interview subsequent to short-listing based on valid GATE score only. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of online application forms: 22^nd Mar, 2013 (Friday)
• Date of IISc entrance test: 28^th Apr, 2013 (Sunday)
