Nirma University, Ahmedabad Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidate for admission into following programs for 2013
- Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biotechnology
- Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biochemistry
- Master of Science (M.Sc) in Microbiology
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates should have bachelors degree under 10+2+3/4/5, pattern of education in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Bio-Technology, Agricultural Veterinary, Fishery & Dairy Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS), BDS, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Technology, BHMS, BAMS, B.Tech/B.E Biotechnology, Physiotherapy and Bio-medical Engineering.
- Candidates should have at least 50% marks as aggregate of all the semester/years.
How to Apply
- Candidates can download the application form from the university’s website www.nirmauni.ac.in
- The application processing fee is Rs.1000 which is required to be paid along with the submission of filled-in application form.
- The fees may be paid through demand draft drawn in favour of "Institute of Science, Nirma University" payable at Ahmedabador in cash (in case of submission of application form in person).
- Duly filled in application form in all respect should be received latest by the last date 30th Apr, 2013 in a sealed envelope marked as “M.Sc. Admissions 2013" on the left hand side top corner of the envelope.
- The form can be submitted in person/by registered post/by courier to the university’s address.
Selection Procedure
- Admissions will be based on the merits obtained in the entrance test conducted by the Nirma University.
- The examination will be based on undergraduate syllabus of Chemistry, Biotechnology and Biosciences.

- Last date for receiving the application form: 30th Apr, 2013 (Tuesday)
- Date of entrance examination: 12th May, 2013 (Sunday)
