University of Jammu Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc in Biotechnology Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Biotechnology offered at School of Biotechnology for the academic yea 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates with bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-years B.Sc. (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply in two modes, i.e. through “Online Mode” and “Off-Line Mode”.
  
  
• Online Mode: Candidates can apply by logging onto JNU website: www.jnu.ac.in or www.jnuonline.in between 7^th Feb, 2013 and 23^rd Mar, 2013 and submit the application form.
  
  
• Off-Line Mode: Candidates can apply by sending the demand draft mounting to Rs.260 drawn in favor of “Jawaharlal Nehru University” payable at New Delhi, latest by 11^th Mar, 2013 to the

  along with self-addressed envelope of size “30cms x 25cms” clearly indicating on the top of it the program of study for which the form is required. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission for all seats will be made on the basis of merit in the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology (CEEB) to be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on 21^st May, 2013.

• For offline submission: 11^th Mar, 2013 (Monday)
• For online submission: 23^rd Mar, 2013 (Saturday)
• For both online and offline mode: 28^th Mar, 2013 (Thursday)
