The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University,Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc in Epidemiology Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into two years full-time Master of Science (M.Sc) in Epidemiology (4 seats) for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who have MBBS/BDS/B.A.M.S/B.U.M.S/B.H.M.S/B.S.M.S/BVSc/MPT/MOT/
  M.Sc(Nursing)/M.Pharm/M.Sc(Bio-Statistics/Statistics)/M.Sc(Nutrition)/
  M.Sc(Biochemistry/Anatomy/Physiology/Pharmacology/Microbiology) are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidates from India and abroad who have U.G. and P.G. degrees recognized from other universities other than The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University must obtain eligibility certificate through the university and submit it at the time of applying for admission to the course. 

How to Apply

• The application form and the prospectus and a set of enclosures can be downloaded from the website: www.tnmgrmu.ac.in of The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University.
  
  
• The duly filled in application completed in all respects will be registered in this university and processed on payment of Rs.750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) by a bank demand draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of The Registrar, The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, payable at Chennai towards non-refundable application processing fee.
  
  
• The completed application form (filled by the applicant in his/her own handwriting) with the following enclosure should reach:
  
  The Registrar
  The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University
  
  for registration and processing on or before 5.45 P.M. on 4^th Apr, 2013. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates will be based on written entrance examination and an interview to be conducted to all the eligible candidates.

• Last date for receipt of filled in application form: 4^th Apr, 2013 (Thursday)
• Date of entrance examination and interview: 26^th Apr, 2013 (Friday)
