Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Siruseri Invites Applications for Admission into B.Sc/M.Sc Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into three years integrated programme for 2013.

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Honours) in Mathematics & Computer Science
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Honours) in Mathematics & Physics and two years
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Mathematics
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science and Applications of Mathematics 

Eligibility Conditions

For (Integrated) B.Sc Honours Program

• Candidates who have already passed, or expect to pass in 2013, the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board are eligible for admission to the program.

For M.Sc in Mathematics

• Candidates holding B.Sc(Maths)/B.Math/B.Stat/B.E/B.Tech are eligible to apply.

For M.Sc in Applications of Mathematics

• Candidates holding B.Math/B.Stat/B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc(Maths, Physics, Statistics) are eligible to apply.

For M.Sc in Computer Science

• Candidates holding B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc(C.S.)/B.C.A. or B.Sc(Maths) with a strong background in C.S are eligible to apply.

• Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website.
  
  
• Candidates can request a printed application form, either by post or in person. In either case, there is an application fee of Rs.600.
  
  
• Alternatively, you can obtain application forms and information brochures by post. Send a DD for Rs.600 in favour of Chennai Mathematical Institute payable at Chennai. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done through an entrance examination to be conducted at centres throughout the country on 15^th May, 2013. (Wednesday)

• Date of entrance examination: 15^th May, 2013 (Wednesday)
