The National School of Drama (NSD) announced dates for the test to provide admission into its 3 years Diploma Course Regular residential in Dramatic Arts starting from July 2011.

Medium of Instruction:
Hindi / English

Eligibility for National School of Drama Admission 2011

• Bachelor in any discipline from av accredited University in India or overseas.
• Participation in minimum six theatre productions.
• Working knowledge of Hindi & English.

Age Limit
Between 20 to 30 years

NSD 2011 Application Forms
Application forms 2011 will be available directly from the National School of Drama or through sending a DD of Rs.225/- in favour of “The Director”, National School of Drama, New Delhi. along with the request for form. Examinees can also transfer the form by the NSD official website.

Selection Procedure:
An expert committee constituted by the School will assess the aptitude and talent( through a preliminary test followed by a 4-5 days workshop) of the candidate and its decision will be final. Selection based on Entrance Test, Group Dissection and Personal Interview.

All requests for receiving the form by post should reach the school by 31^st March, 2011

Forms will be available at the Book shop of NSD from 25^th March to 20^th April on cash payment of Rs. 150 only between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00pm.

Last date of depositing the form is 25^th April, 2011.
