RK University (RKU), Rajkot Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into for various specializations at various faculties for 2013.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Science
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Physiotherapy
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Computer Applications
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in fields of Management 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must have a post-graduate (master’s) degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and must be qualified in national level test like UGC/CSIR (JRF) examination/CSIR (SRF)/NET/SLET/GATE/GPAT/M.Phil etc or its equivalent examinations of similar level or RKU Research Aptitude Test (RAT). 

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
  
  
• Application fee is Rs.1000. Candidates must send the completed application form along with a demand draft or payable at par cheque of Rs.1000 in favor of “RK University” to the address: PhD Admissions, RK University, Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway, Kasturbadham Rajkot-60020, Gujarat. 

Selection Procedure

• Research Aptitude Test (RAT)
• Personal Interview
• Candidates who have passed a national level test like UGC/CSIR (JRF) examination/CSIR (SRF)/NET/SLET/GATE/GPAT/M.Phil etc or its equivalent, will not be required to appear in the written entrance test (RAT) conducted by the university, provided that the score of the examination is valid on the date of RAT.

• Last date for receiving application form: 20^th Apr, 2013 (Saturday)
• Date of RKU RAT 2013 entrance exam: 5^th May, 2013 (Sunday)
