JSS University, Mysore Invites Applications for Admission into MBA Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following two years full-time for 2013-14.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hospital Administration
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Pharmacy Administration
Eligibility Conditions
For MBA in Hospital Administration Program
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification with minimum of 50% marks aggregate is eligible to apply. (In case of SC, ST and OBC Candidate the minimum should be 40% marks aggregate)
For MBA in Pharmacy Administration Program
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Life Science, B.Sc. (ZBC), B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Micro Biology, M.Sc. Micro Biology, BHMS, BAMS, MBBS, B.Sc. (MLT), B.Sc. (Agriculture), M.Sc. (Agriculture), Vet Science graduate and post graduate qualification from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks aggregate is eligible to apply. (In case of SC, ST and OBC candidate the minimum should be 40% marks aggregate)
How to Apply
- Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
- A candidate is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit the same to the University on or before the scheduled date. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs.1500 only, by way of DD favoring “JSS University Fee Account, Mysore”, payable at Mysore along with the documents.
- Candidates may also obtain the application form along with the brochure by sending an application fee of Rs.200 only by way of DD favoring “JSS University Fee Account”, Mysore, payable at Mysore. The duly filled application form should be sent to the University along with documents listed below enclosing DD for Rs.1500 favoring “JSS University Fee Account”, Mysore, payable at Mysore.
Selection Procedure
For MBA in Hospital Administration Program
- The admission entrance test and counseling sessions will be conducted at JSS University.
For MBA in Pharmacy Administration Program
The selection pattern for the admission by the University will be:
- Aptitude Test
- Group Discussions
- Personal Interviews
- Past Academic Record
- Work Experience
Note
- The 80% of seats will be admitted to the courses, on the basis of the rank list prepared by the University based on the sum total of aggregate percentage of marks in undergraduate course, admission test score and group discussion and admission interview.
- 15% of total seats are reserved for NRI/foreign nationals. 5% of the total seats are reserved for institutional preference (IP).
