Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT), Tamnar Invites Applications for Admission into PGP in Thermal Power Technology Program

Applications are invited by Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT), Tamnar which is a part of O.P. Jindal Group from eligible candidates for admission into Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Thermal Power Technology for 2013-14.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must have a minimum passing marks in theory will be 40%, in sessional 60% and viva-vice will be 50%.
- In case a trainee gets less than 60% marks the sessional examination, she/he will not be eligible to appear in the end semester examination.
- Candidates must have minimum passing percentage in total will be 50% in each subject.
- A maximum of 5 grace marks per semester will be given for passing of theory/practical/viva vice to the best advantage of the student. These grace marks will not be added anywhere in the mark sheet, however mention will be made in the mark sheet that candidate has passed with the grace marks.
- If a candidate fails in the semester examination, either in theory or in practical’s or due to deficiency in overall passing percentage, he/she will have to re-appear in the corresponding paper/practical examination in the forthcoming/next semester examination.
Selection Procedure
- Selection of candidates will be on the basis of written exam "Jindal Engineering Test (JET)" followed by personal interview to be conducted at Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Baroda and Raipur in 1st /2nd week of June 2013.
