JSS University, Mysore Invites Applications for Admission into M.Sc Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following full-time programme for the academic year 2013-14.

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Environmental Sciences
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Bio-Medical Sciences

Whereas Bio-Medical Sciences is offered in various subjects such as

• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Microbiology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Biochemistry
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Physiology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Anatomy
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Pharmacology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Forensic Odontology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Clinical Embryology
• Master of Science (M.Sc) in Cognitive Neuroscience 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Sc in Environmental Sciences Program

• The candidate should be a graduate in B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Agriculture/Horticulture/B.FSc/MBBS from any statutory university.

For M.Sc in Bio-Medical Sciences Program

• The candidate should have passed any one of following degree from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
  
  
• A candidate is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit the same to the University on or before the scheduled date. The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs.500 only, by way of DD favoring “JSS University Fee Account, Mysore”, payable at Mysore along with the documents listed. 

Selection Procedure

• The 80% of seats will be admitted to M.Sc courses, on the basis of the rank list prepared by the university based on the total of aggregate percentage of marks in undergraduate course and admission test score.
• 15% of total seats are reserved for NRI/foreign nationals.
• 5% of the total seats are reserved for Institutional Preference (IP). 

Last date for receipt of filled application form for registration by post and in person:

• For M.Sc in Environmental Sciences Program: 9^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
• For M.Sc in Bio-Medical Sciences Program: 12^th Jul, 2013 (Wednesday)
