Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda Invites Applications for Admission into Integrated M.Phil-Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidatesfor admission into following Integrated programme offered at various schools for 2013.

Master of Philosophy-Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil-Ph.D) in Biosciences
Master of Philosophy-Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil-Ph.D) in Environmental Science & Technology
Master of Philosophy-Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil-Ph.D) in South and Central Asian Studies
Master of Philosophy-Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil-Ph.D) in Comparative Literature
Master of Philosophy-Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil-Ph.D) in Development Economics

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Phil-Ph.D Biosciences

Candidates must have passed master’s degree in any branch of life sciences with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

For M.Phil-Ph.D Environmental Science and Technology

Candidates must hold M.Tech./master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or a relevant branch of Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or Engineering with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

How to Apply

Candidates need to fill the online application form and make the payment either through online or offline mode.
The application fee is Rs.500 for 1 program, Rs.600 for 2 programs and Rs.700 for 3 programs for General/OBC candidates and for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs.250 for 1 program, Rs.300 for 2 programs and Rs.350 for 3 programs.
For online mode of payment- Candidates need to make the payment using Debit / Credit card powered by Master or Visa, or through net-banking facility.
For offline mode of payment- Candidates can make the payment in cash at any branch of Bank of India.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in Central Universities' Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2013).

Last date for availability of offline application: 20^th May, 2013 (Monday)
Date for deactivation of online application form: 25^th May, 2013 (Saturday)
Last date for receipt of offline applications at participating universities: 30^th May, 2013 (Thursday)
Date of entrance test for research programs: 14^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
