Indian Maritime University, Uthandi Invites Applications for Admission into B.Sc Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into three years Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nautical Science and Maritime Science offered at School Nautical Studies (SNS) and B.Sc in Ship Building and Repair offered at School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (SNA) at Chennai, Mumbai and Kochi campuses for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc in Nautical Science and Maritime Science Program

• Candidates pass in 10+2/equivalent (PCM-60% & English- 50%) are eligible to apply.

For B.Sc in Ship Building and Repair Program

• Candidates pass in 10+2/equivalent (PCM-55% & English - 50%) are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.700 in case of SC/ST candidates) via offline payment system.
  
  
• Candidates need to download the challan from the official website and take the printout of the challan and pay the amount in the nearest branches of State Bank of India or Indian Bank.
  
  
• The hard copy of filled application with necessary papers to be submitted and original challan form should be sent to university.
  
  
• The filled in application should be superscribed as CET-Admissions 2013/14, UG/PG program and addressed to

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on common entrance test (IMU CET-2013) conducted by the university.

• Last date for receiving filled-in application forms: 10^th May, 2013 (Friday)
• Date of IMU-CET (all India): 1^st Jun, 2013 (Saturday)
