Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda Invites Applications for Admission into PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various programs offered at various schools for 2013.

• Master of Arts (M.A)
• Master of Science (M.Sc)
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.A. in International Studies

• Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

For M.Sc. in Biosciences

• Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can apply either apply online or offline.

For online registration

• Candidates need to fill the online application form by visiting the CUCET website and make the payment either through online or offline mode.
  
  
• The application fee is Rs.500 for 1 program, Rs.600 for 2 programs and Rs.700 for 3 programs for General/OBC candidates and for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs.250 for 1 program, Rs.300 for 2 programs and Rs.350- for 3 programs.

For online payment & registration

• Candidates can use Debit / Credit card powered by Master or Visa, or through net-banking facility. Candidates can also pay through interbank transfer.
  
  
• For offline registration, candidates can download the application form from CUCET website or from the university’s website www.cup.ac.in and make the payment in cash at any branch of Bank of India.

Note: Payment of application fee through demand draft/cheques/money orders/ postal orders etc. will not be accepted. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in Central Universities' Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2013). 

Important Dates

• Last date for availability of offline application: 20^th May, 2013 (Monday)
• Date for deactivation of online application form: 25^th May, 2013 (Saturday)
• Last date for receipt of offline applications at participating universities: 30^th May, 2013 (Thursday)
• Date of online entrance test: 15^th Jun, 2013 (Saturday) to 16^th Jun, 2013 (Sunday)
