Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PPDU), Gandhinagar Invites Applications for Admission into M.Tech Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for the academic year 2013.

• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Petroleum Engineering
• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Nuclear Engineering
• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Energy Systems & Technology (Focused on Solar Energy, Mechanical Engineering (Thermal)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Civil Engineering (Infrastructure Engineering & Management) 

Eligibility Conditions

• The minimum eligibility criteria are aggregate of 60% or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying B.Tech degree in respective discipline.

For M.Tech in Petroleum Engineering Program

• Candidates holding B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Refinery Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemical, Technology, Mining Engineering/M.Sc or M.Sc.Tech. in Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Petroleum Geology, with Mathematics as one of the courses of study at the bachelors level and with a minimum CPI of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent ( 60% of aggregate marks) are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• If a candidate is applying for more than one branch of M.Tech, it is necessary to apply separately application for each of them.
  
  
• Every eligible candidate has to apply on-line through the university website: www.pdpu.ac.in.

Application Fee: Rs. 1500 (for single application) 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on the written aptitude test and personal interview conducted by the university.

• Date of WAT-2013 examination: 3^rd Jun, 2013 (Monday)
