Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme at various schools for 2013.

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Engineering/Technology
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Science
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Management
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Liberal Studies in English Language & Literature
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Public Administration and Public Policy
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Economics
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Psychology
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Political Science & International Relations 

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D in Engineering/Technology Program

• Candidates holding first class/CPI of 6.5/ aggregate 60% marks either at B.Tech or at M.Tech/M.E equivalent level, & M.Tech/M.E or equivalent in appropriate area are eligible to apply.

For Ph.D in Science Program

• Candidates holding first class/CPI of 6.5/ aggregate 60% marks in M.Sc or equivalent level equivalent in appropriate area are eligible to apply.

For Ph.D in Management Program

• Candidates holding first class/CPI of 6.5/ aggregate 60% marks either at a Bachelor degree or at M.B.A/M.Tech/M.E/A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S. level equivalent level, & M.B.A/M.Tech/M.E/A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S are eligible to apply.

For Ph.D in Liberal StudiesProgram

• Candidates holding M.A with aggregate 55% or its equivalent in an appropriate area are eligible to apply.

Applications Fee: Rs.2000. (for a single application) 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on the discipline wise (e.g.Civil Engineering/Management) written research aptitude test and personal interview conducted by the university.

• Date of WRAT-2013 examination: 6^th Jun, 2013 (Thursday)
