Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Noida Invites Applications for Admission into M.S Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2013.

Eligibility Conditions

For M.S in Bioinformatics & Cheminformatics

A recognized BS or B.Sc degree in any branch of science or technology, viz. life sciences (agriculture, biotechnology etc.), bioinformatics, physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, engineering (B.Tech, B.E), pharma (BPharma), veterinary (BVSc),medicine (MBBS,BDS,BHMS,BAMS etc) or equivalent along with minimum first division or an equivalent grade or at least 60% of aggregate scores in all major examinations from Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) onwards.

For M.S in Economics

A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics or an equivalent degree in the sciences or engineering; students with an equivalent degree in other fields may also apply but will have to have the requisite mathematical skills. All students must have at least with 55% marks, or equivalent grade point average, in their bachelor’s degree.

For M.S in Mathematics

A bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Physics/Science or similar disciplines with overall marks of at least 60% (or equivalent grade).

How to Apply

For M.S in Bioinformatics & Cheminformatics Program

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website.
All eligible candidates are requested to fill up the admission forms. Application must include the applicant’s completed application form, detailed curriculum vitae (CV) with a small research proposal (2 pages at max) contact details including phone number, email and postal address.

For M.S in Economics Program

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website.
Candidates have two options for sending in the completed M.A. Economics application: (i) either email the soft copy of filled in form, along with scanned copies of mark sheets to Kaynat Qazi at [email protected]; (ii) or post the hard copy of the filled in form, along with all the mark sheets to Kaynat Qazi given below: Director’s office, Department of Economics School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

For M.S in Mathematics Program

Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website.
The application form must be accompanied by the required supporting document and a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.1000 (in favor of “Shiv Nadar University” payable at Delhi).

Selection Procedure

For M.S in Bioinformatics & Cheminformatics

Shortlisted candidates will be called for competitive written examination held at SNU, followed by interviews and final selections.

For M.S in Economics

Admission will be based on student’s performance in a written test and an interview.

For M.S in Mathematics
