Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra Invites Applications for Admission into M.Pharm Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme in the institute for 2013

• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacology
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Clinical Research
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Quality Assurance
• Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Regulatory Affairs

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must hold a B. Pharm degree from a PCI and AICTE approved Institute.
• Candidates must have a first class or minimum 60% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in graduation. 

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates must download and print the application form available on the institute’s website.
  
  
• Candidates should draw a crossed demand draft for Rs.2000 for general category candidates and Rs.1200 for SC/ST candidates (non-refundable) in favor of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi.
  
  
• The completed application form along with requisite documents needs to be sent to the:

  mentioning in the envelope as “Application for PG 2013”. 

Selection Procedure

GPAT qualified candidates

• Provisional selections to the M.Pharm program will be on the basis of scores obtained in GPAT 2013 and previous academic record and personal interviews / counseling, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Non-GPAT candidates

• Provisional selections of Non-GPAT candidates will be on the basis of written test, previous academic record and personal interviews / counseling, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  
  
• However, their admission will be considered only after applicants who have qualified in GPAT 2013 have been considered and admitted, subject to the availability of seats. 

Important Dates

• Last date for receipt of completed application form: 15^th Jun, 2013 (Saturday)
• Tentative dates for written test and interviews/counseling: 9^th Jul, 2013 (Tuesday) to 12^th Jul, 2013 (Friday)
