University of Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into Distance M.A/M.Com Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidate for admission into following distance programs offered at School of Open Learning for 2013.

• Master of Arts (M.A) in Hindi
• Master of Arts (M.A) in History
• Master of Arts (M.A) in Sanskrit & Political Science
• Master of Commerce (M.Com) 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.A in History Program

• Candidates holding B.A. (hons.) examination in History of Delhi University with minimum of 50% marks but less than 60% aggregate are eligible to apply.

For M.A in Political Science Program

• Candidates holding B.A. (hons.) examinations in Political Science from Delhi University with minimum of 50% marks and above are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• Admission to postgraduate courses at SOL opens in the months of August-September and is advertised in the leading National newspapers. The date and availability of the prospectus is specified in the advertisement.
  
  
• The students are required to submit the attached forms duly completed along with the supporting documentation as specified in the prospectus. A brief description of admission formalities is summarized below only for the guidance of all applicants and cannot substitute for the detailed information provided in the prospectus which shall govern the admission process.
  
  
• The prospectus can be obtained either from the main center at North Delhi campus or from the South study center at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on the entrance test conducted by the university.
