University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into PhD in Mathematics Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Pure Mathematics offered at the Department of Pure Mathematics for 2013-14.

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website.
• Candidates need to pay the application fees of Rs.100 in the university cash counter.

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basic of their performance in the Ph.D entrance test conducted by the university.
  
  
• Candidates who have cleared UGC/CSIR (JRF)/NET/SET/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship or have passed equivalent examinations or passed the M.Phil examination shall not be required to appear at the Ph.D entrance test.

• Last date for submission of application form: 17^th Jun, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of Ph.D entrance test: 2^nd Jul, 2013 (Tuesday)
• Date of interview: 7^th Jul, 2013 (Sunday)
