University of Madras, Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into MCA program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Computer Application (MCA) program offered at department of Computer Science for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates holding BCA/BES/B.Sc degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Applied Sciences/Physics/Statistics or B.Com/BBM/BBA/BLM/B.A Corporate Secretary ship /B.A Economics/any other degree with Business Mathematics and Statistics or Mathematics/Statistics in Main/Allied level or  B.Sc Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics and Physics as allied subject or B.E/B.Tech/MBA or bachelors degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary levelare eligible to apply.
  
  
• Only those candidates who have appeared for the TANCET examinations conducted by the Anna University are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

• The application form can be obtained from the Application Sales Counter, University Centenary Building, University of Madras on payment of Rs.300 by cash.
  
  
• The application form can also be downloaded from the university website www.unom.ac.in and if the application form is downloaded from the website, the cost of the application Rs.300 shall be remitted in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Madras.
  
  
• The SC/ST candidates can obtain application form fee of cost on production of two attested copies of the community certificate.
  

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the TANCET exam conducted by the Anna University.
