Sikkim University Invites Applications for Admission into M.Com Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Commerce (M.Com) program for 2013-2014. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates holding B.Com, BBA degree are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• The students seeking admission to various departments of the university shall have the option to go for online application as well as submit their applications to the concerned department(s). The application form may be downloaded from www.sikkimuniversity.ac.in and submitted along with relevant documents and fee for admission form by demand draft payable to “Sikkim University”. The university will have collection centres for admission forms at several places in the city, including the Kanchenjanga block and Science block buildings. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission committee of the department shall scrutinize the applications of Sikkimese students and students from outside Sikkim separately. 50% seats shall be reserved for the students of Sikkim on the basis of reservation norms approved by the state government, but they may also be considered on merit for the remaining 50% open posts along with students from anywhere in the world. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application forms: 15^th Jul, 2013 (Monday)
• Date for admission test (if called for): 20^th Jul, 2013 (Saturday)
