Gujarat Technological University to offer two new courses

GTU has got permission from the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) to offer two new courses-Master of Applied Management (MAM) and Master of Computer Management (MCM) for students who have passed HSC this year.

The MAM course is an integrated five-year management course akin to MBA while MCM is an integrated five-year computer course akin to MCA.

Students who have cleared HSC (science) with 45 per cent marks in the open category will be eligible to apply for MCM course while students of HSC science and general stream with 45 per cent marks will be eligible for admission in MCM courses.

GTU director MN Patel said that there are 840 MAM seats in 24 MBA colleges in the state while there are 360 MCM seats in six MCA colleges.

 Students can download the forms from the GTU website and fill and submit them at the respective helpline centres.
