Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidate by Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program for 2013-2014. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should have passed the M.Sc. (any branch of science), M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent grade point).
  
  
• Should have qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or ICMR-JRF or DBT-JRF or DST-INSPIRE. Candidates who have qualified only for lecturership in CSIR/UGC or GATE (97 percentile or above) or GPAT (97 percentile or above) are also eligible to apply. They should have qualified in these examinations no earlier than June 2012.

• All application should reach the institute on or before the last date. The envelope should be superscribed with “Application for Ph.D. program, 2013”. 

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on the entrnace examination conducted by the institute.

• Date of entrance examination: 11^th Aug, 2013 (Sunday)
