Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla Invites Applications for Admission into BFA/MFA Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time four years and two years programs for the academic year 2013.

• Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting
• Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Pahari Miniature Painting 

Eligibility Conditions

For BFA in Painting Program

• Candidates pass in 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

For MFA in Pahari Miniature Painting Program

• Candidates holding bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university are eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• The prospectus will be available in the office of the Director, Institute of Integrated Himalayan Studies and in the Department of Visual Arts, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla-5. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission to the course will be made on the basis of entrance test.
  
  
• Knowledge of Fine Arts/Painting would be tested to find out the interest of the candidate.

• Last date of receipt of the application forms: 18^th Jun, 2013 (Tuesday)

Date of entrance test:

• For BFA Program: 28^th Jun,2013 (Friday)
• For MFA Program: 29^th Jun, 2013 (Saturday)
