University of Calcutta Invites Applications for Admission into B.A/B.Sc Programs

Applications are invited from female candidates for admission to Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in General and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in General and Honours in Home Science (Food & Nutrition and Human Development) programs offered at Department of Home Science for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates from a recognized board/council qualifying H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examinations are eligible to apply.
  
  
• For admission to the hons. course 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination or 55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination. 

How to Apply

• Submission of application only through online. Log on www.caluniv-ucsta.net or calunivucsta.net/homescience/phpfiles/start.php  on and from 6th June to 14^th Jun, 2013 and subsequently deposition of the print copy within the stipulated span in the secretary office.
  
  
• After online submission of application a print copy of the downloaded application form to be submitted to the department of Home Science, C.U. along with attested copies of Madhyamik admit card & H.S. marksheet and challan (with requisite fees @ Rs.50 for general and @ Rs.25 for SC/ST/PH submitted) in the office of the
  
  Secretary at 20B Judges Court Road
  Alipore
  Kolkata-700027
  
  between 11 A.M. and 2 P.M. & 3 P.M. and 4 P.M. from 6^th Jun, 2013 to 14^th Jun, 2013 in all working days.
  
  
• The selection will be made in order of merit.
