Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Amritapuri Invites Applications for Admission into M.Tech Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various 2 year Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering in Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore campuses for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

For M.Tech in Automobile Engineering

• Candidates should have passed B.E./B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in any one of the following disciplines or equivalent- Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering and Production Engineering.

For M.Tech in Bio-medical Engineering

• Candidates should have passed B.E./B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade (with Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Biomedical Engineering /Mechatronics as one of the specializations) or M.Sc(Physics with Electronics as one of the subjects) or M.Sc (Electronics) or equivalent. 

How to Apply

• The pplication fee is Rs.650, which covers the cost of application form, University brochure, and information handbook.
  
  
• Application forms for admission can be obtained as ¨By post, from the Admission Coordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bangalore or Coimbatore on a written request indicating their full address together with a demand draft for Rs.650 drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Engineering” payable at Coimbatore. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the entrance test and subsequent interview.
• Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference for M.Tech.
