North Orissa University (NOU),Baripada Invites Applications for Admission into PG Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into regular and self-financing programs offered in different departments for 2013-14.

• Master in Social Works (ASW)
• Master in Finance and Control
• Master in Law (LLM)
• Master of Computer Application
• Master of Science (M.Sc)
• Masters of Arts (MA) 

Eligibility Conditions

• Honours or Pass graduates candidates with atleast 45% of marks at the +3 level in the concerned/relevant subject are eligible to apply. For SC/ST students eligibility is honours or pass graduate in the concerned subject.
  
  
• Candidates awaiting Results can also apply, but they have to submit Results on or before the date of entrance test. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can obtained the application form from the office of the Chairman, P.G Council on production of a bank draft of Rs.250.
  
  
• Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a bank draft of Rs.300 only along with two self- addressed slips to the Chairman, P.G. Council, North Orissa University, Baripada.
  
  
• Application forms can also be downloaded from the university website (www.nou.nic.in). However, the applicant is required to send a bank draft of Rs.250 only along with the filled in application form.

Selection Procedure

• Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination and assessment of their academic career. 

Important Dates

• Last date for online submission of application form: 15^th Jul, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of PG entrance test: 19^th Jul, 2013 (Friday) and 20^th Jul, 2013 (Saturday)
