K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai Invites Applications for Admission into Engineering Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2013-14.

• First year of Engineering (F.E) programs in Computer engineering
• First year of Engineering (F.E) programs in Electronics Engineering
• First year of Engineering (F.E) programs in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
• First year of Engineering (F.E) programs in Information Technology
• First year of Engineering (F.E) programs in Mechanical Engineering 

Eligibility Conditions

• The candidate must be an Indian national.
  
  
• A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination of a council or board like ICSC, CBSC from a recognized institution located in the State of  Maharashtra, with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
                                    And
  Ranking obtained in MT-CET-2013 for Engineering/Technology degree courses conducted by the competent authority notified by DTE, Mumbai.
  
  
• The candidate must have obtained not less than 45% (i.e. 135 out of 300) marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) taken together at the HSC or equivalent examination at one and the same sitting. 

How to Apply 

• Candidates need to fill the application form online.
  
  
• Printed form will not be made available by college.
  
  
• The application must be complete in all respects and be submitted with attested photo copies (1 set) of the necessary documents.

Selection Procedure

• Admissions will be made on the basis of inter se merit for each quota.
