IGNOU introduces new PG course in food safety

Indira Gandhi National Open University has introduced a post-graduate diploma course in food safety and quality management from the 2013 academic session, authorities said.

This PG programme has been developed  with the held of Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) to meet the increasing human resource requirements for food safety and quality management professionals in the agriculture and food sectors.

The last date for admission to the course is June 30.
