University of Calcutta, Kokatta Invites Applications for Admission into B.L.I.S. Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Bachelor of Library & Information Science (B.L.I.S.) program offered at the Department of library & Information Science for 2013. 

Eligibility Condditions

• Candidate should have a bachelor degree with Honours (10 + 2+ 3) or master degree or a degree in a technical subject (of the pattern 10 + 2 + 4 or 10 + 2 + 5) such as Medical Science, Engineering, Law etc. of this University or having an equivalent degree of any other University or Institute recognized by this university. 

How to Apply

• The application form along with Information Brochure is available at the University Sales Counter on payment of Rs.250.
  
  
• Duly filled in application in the prescribed form for Entrance Examination for admission will be received by the Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta. 

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be done on the basis of merit list of Entrance Examination, with reservations as per norms of the University of Calcutta.

Important Dates

• Last date for receipt of completed application form: 15^th Jul, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of entrance examination: 20^th Jul, 2013 (Saturday)
