Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram Invites Applications for Admission into M.S Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science (M.S) program in Astronomy and Astrophysics offered at Department of Earth and Space Sciences for 2013-14. The total number of seats offered for the program is Six. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
  
  
• Candidates holding BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree mentioned above should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10 are eligible to apply.
  
  
• A valid GATE score in the above mentioned relevant area is essential.

  along with the attested copies of certificates/testimonials and a demand draft for Rs.600 (Rs.300 only for SC, ST and women candidates) on or before 16^th Jul, 2013.
  
  
• The demand draft should be drawn in favour of “Registrar, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology,” payable at “Thiruvananthapuram.”

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates will be based on a written test in basic physics followed by an interview on 19^th Jul, 2013.
