Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• A candidate who has passed the post-graduate examination in any discipline of Mahatma Gandhi University or of other universities recognized as equivalent thereto securing not less than 55% marks in the aggregate are eligible to apply for registration for Ph.D. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required for application is 50% in the aggregate in the post graduate examination.
  
  
• Candidates holding MBBS, BAMS, BHMS and BDS degree who have secured not less than 50% marks for their final examinations are also eligible to apply for registration for Ph.D. 

How to Apply

• Candidates must apply and submit the form online. After the online submission ,a hard copy of the application for admission in the university departments shall be sent to the Head Of the Department Concern.
  
  
• The hard copy of the application for the admission to the approved research center shall be sent to  the

  The hard copy and other listed credentials must reach the university before 5^th Aug, 2013 . Otherwise the application will not be considered. 

Selection Procedure

Admission will be made on the basis of:

• The qualifying degree marks
• Written aptitude test
• An interview
