Bharathiar University, Coimbatore Invites Applications for Admission into M.Phil/Ph.D Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full time and part time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil)/Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in various disciplines offered at the university departments/affiliated colleges and recognized research institutions for 2013. 

Eligibility Conditions

• All candidates should have passed a two-year PG degree course after 3-year bachelor’s degree course and Higher Secondary course of 2-year duration after 10-year SSLC (10+2+3+2)
                       or
  Candidates should have passed one year Pre-degree after 11-year SSLC (11+1+3+2) or 10-year SSLC plus 3-year diploma plus two year UG degree and two year PG (10+3+2+2) or four year UG degree and one year masters degree (10+2+4+1). 

How to Apply

• Candidates can download the application forms and prospectus from the university website www.b-u.ac.in.
  
  
• The cost of application fee for M.Phil is Rs.500 and Ph.D is Rs.600.
  
  
• The demand draft should be drawn in favor of “Registrar, Bharathiar University”.
  
  
• The application consists of two copies (first copy and second copy)
  
  
• While applying for the M.Phil./Ph.D. programs in the Affiliated colleges/ Approved Research Institution, the candidate should submit the first copy (i.e University copy) to the Registrar, Bharathiar University along with the original demand draft without any other enclosures and submit the second copy (i.e college copy) to the Principal of concerned college.
