Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), Chennai Invites Applications for Admission into PGD Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time and part time programme for 2013-14.

• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Bioinformatics
• Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosis/Companion Animal Practice

Part-time

• PGD in Business Management in Animal & Fisheries Sciences 

Eligibility Conditions

For Part-Time PGD Program

• A candidate possessing a bachelor’s degree in professional courses like B.V.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc.,B.Sc. (Agri), B.E., B.Sc., (Hort.), M.B.B.S., B.L., of recognized university (or) equivalent (or) any bachelor’s degree in Science (or) Arts with an OGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 in trimester system (or) 6.5 out of 10.0 in semester system (or) 50% in conventional system shall be eligible.

• The application form should be sent with registration fee (Rs.300 for SC/ST and Rs.600 for others). Registration fee should be sent only in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, TANUVAS, Chennai‐51 payable at Chennai. 

Selection Procedure

• For Part-Time PGD Program: The students are selected duly applying the rule of reservation on the basis of their performance in entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.
