IIM Ahmadabad announced dates for admission to PG program in Agri-business Management 2014

IIM   Ahmadabad (IIMA) issued notification for admission to two-year Post-graduate Program in Agri-business Management (PGP-ABM) for the session 2014-2016. Interested candidates should apply for the CAT 2013 examination to be held in October - November, 2013 as IIMA will shortlist candidates for PGD-ABM program from amongst the CAT takers.

Program Details:

Name of the Program: Post-Graduate Program in Agri-business Management (PGP-ABM)

Duration: Two years

Eligibility: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences or Agriculture-related Disciplines, with at least 50% marks or equivalent OR Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in any non-agricultural discipline + strong interest in agriculture, food, rural and allied sectors.

Candidates with non-agricultural qualifications will be required to submit a special form that will be soon available on the IIM, Ahmedabad website.

Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification examination and those awaiting results can also apply.

Admission Procedure:

IIMA will short-list candidates for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD / PI) on the basis of their CAT 2013 score. Short-listed candidates will have to appear for GD / PI to be conducted in Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi in February - March 2014. The candidates will be intimated about the GD / PI process by Registered / Speed post by third week of January 2014.

List of candidates short-listed for Personal Interview by IIMA will be uploaded on the IIMA website by third week of January 2014.

Graduates of PGP-ABM will be awarded a certificate for ‘Post-Graduate Diploma in Agri-Business Management’.
