University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata Invites Applications for Admission into M.Ed Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Education (M.Ed) program offered at Department of Education, C.U, David Hare Training College and Institute of Education for Women, Hastings House for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates with at least 50% marks in M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. along with honours at the degree level and with at least 55% marks in the B.Ed. degree are eligible to apply.
  
  
• The age limit is 40 years as on 30^th Jun, 2013 for fresher candidates and 55 years as on 30^th Jun, 2013 for candidates employed in Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools, Colleges, Govt. and Semi Govt. organizations. 

How to Apply

• Candidates can obtain the application form from the university sales counter on payment of Rs.100 for general category & Rs.50 for the candidates belonging to SC/ST& DA categories for admission to the Master of Education program.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made through admission test and as per University and NCTE norms. 

Important Dates

• Last date for submission of application forms: 22^nd Aug, 2013 (Thursday)
• Date of entrance test: 7^th Sep, 2013 (Saturday)
