Punjab University (PU), Chandigarh Invites Applications for Admission into Distance PGD Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidtes for admission into following distance programme offered at University School of Open Learning (USOL), Suraj Bhan Hall for 2013-14.

• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Applications
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Rights & Duties
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Health
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Family Welfare and Population Education
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Library Automation & Networking
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Mass Communication and Statistics 

Eligibility Conditions

• Admission to the University School of Open Learning (USOL) is open to any Indian National who resides in any part of India or temporarily stays in a foreign country and who satisfies the admission requirements.
  
  
• A candidate, whose result has been declared late by the Panjab University or clears/gets compartment after re-evaluation, can seek admission within 10 working days of the communication of the result.

How to Apply

• The candidate must fill up all columns of the enrolment form with his/her own handwriting giving full details with proof thereon. In case any relevant information is withheld, the candidature may be cancelled.
  
  
• The candidates who are sending their fee through bank draft are advised to prepare a draft of fee in favor of Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh and drawn on State Bank of India, Sector-14, Chandigarh.
  
  
• Candidates can send draft along with the duly filled enrolment form to the

• Last date for submission of application form with late fee (Rs. 500): 9^th Sep, 2013 (Monday)
• Last date for submission of application form without late fee (Rs.1500): 23^rd Sep, 2013 (Monday)
• Last date for submission of application form without late fee (Rs.15000): 11^th Oct, 2013 (Friday)
