Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi Invites Applications for Admission Test 2014-15

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi has issued Notification for Navodaya Schools Admission Test 2014-15, extended to children currently studying in class five in their respective district, to be conducted on 8^th Feb, 2014 in all the districts of Andhra pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Union Territory of Yanam, Puducherry, Karaikkal, Mahe, Minicoy, North and Middle Andaman and Car Nicobar.

Eligibility Conditions

• Students currently studying in class 5th from any school recognized by state or central government are eligible.

Note

• The Admission Test will be of objective type test with two hours duration carrying 100 marks. The test will carry 50 per cent weightage for Mental Ability, 25 per cent for Arithmetic and 25 per cent for Language streams. The medium of the test will be the medium through which the candidate is studying in class 5th Class.

• Application forms can also be availed free of cost at the District Education Officer (DEO) or Block Education Officer or Principals of recognized school having class 5, Sarva shiksha Abhiyan accredited Schools.
  
  
• Application froms are also available at National Institute of Open schooling, Principal Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of the district concerned.
  
  
• Duly filled in application form must be submitted to the Block Education officer of the concerned block (Mandal/taluk) of the district, where the JNV is located.

• Last date for submission of applications: 31^st Oct, 2013.
• Date of Entrance Test: 8^th Feb, 2014
