Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot Invites Applications for P.B.B.Sc/M.Sc in Nursing Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following courses offered in various Nursing colleges of Punjab affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot for 2013.

• Post Basic Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
• Master of Science (M.Sc) programs in Nursing

Eligibility Conditions

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Program

• Candidate should be registered as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council, the candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary of Senior Secondary or Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986, will be eligible for admission.

For M.Sc Nursing Program

• The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Post Basic Nursing with minimum 55% marks from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot or equivalent examination with requisite percentage of marks as prescribed above in this para, recognized by Indian Nursing Council, from a recognized university.

• Candidates are advised to submit printout of online admission application form by hand in the university office particularly, when 5 days are left to submit printout of online admission application form instead of sending by post/courier.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on the entrance tests PPBNET & PMNET conducted by the university.

• Last date for submission of printout of online application form: 19^th Sep, 2013 (Thursday)
