  4. Bachelor of Education (Hearing Impairment) – One Year
  5. Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (Four Years)
  6. Diploma in Hearing Language & speech – One Year
  7. Diploma in Education Special Education (Deaf & Hard of Hearing) – Two years
  8. Diploma in Sign Language Interpreter Course – One Year
  9. PG Diploma in Media and Disability Communication – One Year
  10. Auditory Verbal Therapy Training Programme

Eligibility

Master of Education: B.Ed. (HI) or any other equivalent degree from a UGC recognized University with 50% aggregate marks or B.Ed. (SE-DE) (HI) recognized by RCI with 50% aggregate marks and one year teaching experience after completion of the course OR B.Ed. (Gen) with 50% aggregate marks and D.Ed. (HI) / D.Ed. SE (HI) with 50% aggregate marks.

Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology: Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology OR any equivalent degree recognized by the respective Universities and RCI (including internship). Internship Mandatory

Bachelor of Education: Degree in any discipline or equivalent from any UGC recognized University.

Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology:

  1. For Mumbai Center the eligibility is Pre University exam of any recognized university in India or equivalent of 10+2/HSC in India or abroad passed with Physics, Chemistry and any subject of Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology.
  2. For Kolkata Center, the eligibility is Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics/ Computer Science, English and any other Vth subject.
  3. for New Delhi Center, the eligibility is passed or appearing in 12th class from CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  4. For Secunderabad, the eligibility is 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and any subject of Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology or its equivalent.

Diploma in Education Special Education: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education with minimum of 45% marks for General and 40% marks for SC/ST/PH category.

Diploma in Hearing Language & speech: 10+2 passed with PCB / PCM or its equivalent.

Diploma in Sign Language Interpreter Course: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education. Preference will be given to more qualified candidates.

PG Diploma in Media and Disability Communication: PG Diploma or graduation in Journalism / Communication / Public Relations / Advertising / Mass Media from a recognized University / Institute with minimum of 50% marks.

How To Apply

Prescribed Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the respective centers in person or by Post on payment of Rs.500/- for General category and Rs.300/- for SC / ST / PH categories by way of Demand Draft in favour of “The Director, AYJNIHH, Mumbai”.

The filled in applications should be submitted at the respective centers where admission is sought.
