National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Mumbai Invites Applications for PhD Programme

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into following PhD Programme for the academic year 2013-14.
- PhD in Applied Biology
- PhD in Biochemistry
- PhD in Life Sciences
- PhD in Biotechnology
Note: The institute invites applications from young and bright students for enrollment in PhD programme.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates with M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ M. Pharma./ M.V.Sc. or MBBS (securing not less than 60 per cent marks for general category candidates and not less than 55 per cent for SC/ST candidates in all major examinations from higher secondary (10 + 2) onwards), and willing to take up challenges in modern biology through Ph.D. programme of the Institute may submit their application in the prescribed format.
- Candidates who have qualified in the PhD entrance test conducted by the University of Mumbai OR qualified in the fellowship examination conducted by CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT only are eligible to apply.
- Upper age limit is 28 years as on 13th September 2013 (the deadline for submission of application) and it is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped persons as well as women candidates as per Government of India rules in this regard.
