MDI, Gurgaon announces dates for admission to FPM and EFPM programs 2014

Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, announces dates for admission to its 3 year Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and to Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM) for the academic session starting April 2014.

Interested candidates can apply online or offline till the prescribed last dates.

For  Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

Duration of the Program: 3 years from the date of registration (four years for students doing PGPM course work). It may be extended by another one year subject to the merits of the case and favourable review of work progress by the Research/Advisory Committee.

For  Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM)

Duration of the Program: 3 years after registration, which may be extended by another one year subject to the merits of the case and favorable review of work progress by the Research / Advisory Committee.

Important Dates:

  • Availability of MDI Information Brochure along with Application:  1 Oct, 2013 till 31 Jan,  2014
  • Last Date for submission of Application Form at MDI: 31 Jan, 2014
  • Personal Interview to be held in: Apr, 2014
  • FPM classes commence: first week of Jul, 2014

Eligibility Conditions:

  1. Master’s degree in any discipline recognized by AICTE / AIU with a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)
  2. 5 year integrated Masters Degree Program in any discipline obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)
  3. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS or equivalent.
  4. Those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply.

For EFPM: A minimum of 10 years of managerial work experience preferably at senior levels is required.

The minimum age for the EFPM candidate is 35 years as on 1 January 2014.

Admission and Selection Procedure:

Candidates must have appeared for Standard Tests like CAT / GMAT / GRE / UGC-JRF during 1 May 2012 – 31 December 2013.

Candidate shortlisted n the basis of performance in the above mentioned tests will be called for the Interview in April 2014 to MDI Campus, Gurgaon.

Note: For full-time two-year PGP alumni from MDI, IIMs & XLRI standard test scores may be waived.

Candidates have appeared for Standard Tests like CAT / GMAT / GRE / UGC-JRF between 1 May 2012 and 31 December 2013, should submit their duly filled in MDI Application Form by the prescribed last date.

The MDI application forms along with Information Brochure can be obtained by paying Rs. 1800 in cash at MDI, Gurgaon and other designated counters from 1 October 2013 till 31 January 2014.

Candidates should send their duly filled in MDI Application Forms to ‘The Chairperson (Admissions), Admissions Office, Management Development Institute, Mehrauli Road, Sukhrali, Gurgaon-122007, INDIA’ so as to reach the MDI Campus on or before the prescribed last date.

Candidates can also register online by through MDI website. On successful submission of the Online Application form, candidates should take a print-out of the form deposit Receipt & send it along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1800 drawn in favour of ‘Management Development Institute’, payable at New Delhi.

Candidate should mention their Name, Program applied for, Mobile / Landline number, and Address on the back of the Demand Draft.

Alternatively, fees can also be paid online using Credit / Debit card. Candidates depositing fees using Credit / Debit card should attach fee-deposit receipt instead of fee DD with the Form deposit Receipt and send it to the MDI Campus at the address given above so as to reach there on or before the prescribed last date.

NOTE: Applicants can apply for both FPM and EFPM programs using a single application form by marking their preference for the programs in the application form.

Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection and they will be required to pay the first installment of fees by the prescribed date failing which the offer for admission will be considered withdrawn.
