All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Medical Programs

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs offered in various departments in Delhi/NCR regions for 2014-15.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates must hold a degree of master of sciences or master's degree in any subject allied to bio medical sciences or master's degree in nursing with at least 60% marks or master of surgery or doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree or diplomat of the National Board of Examinations. 
                                   Or
  MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations.

How to Apply

• Candidates can obtain the prospectus and application forms on AIIMS website www.aiimsexams.org.
  
  
• The application fee is Rs.1000 (Rs.800 in case of SC/ST candidates).
  
  
• Candidates can submit the application only through online mode.
  
  
• The payment can be made through a debit/credit card/challan form in any branch of State Bank of India.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of entrance test followed by departmental clinical/practical/lab based assessment test for selected candidatesconducted by the institute.

• Date of entrance test: 19^th Jan, 2014 (Sunday)
