Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), Bangalore Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered jointly with Pondicherry Central University for 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates who have M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc. or B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degrees by August 2014 with a consistently good academic record with 55% marks or more are eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of candidates is done based on IIA Screening Test (IIAST) will be held at examination centers located at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi.
  
  
• Candidates short listed based on their performance in the IIAST will be called for personal interview in IIA, Bangalore.
