Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into full-time and part-time

Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) programs in Dr. Ambedkar Studies, Economics, Education, English, History & Archaeology, Human Resource Management, Journalism & Mass Communication, Mahayana Buddhist Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Rural Development, Sanskrit, Sociology, Social Work, Telugu, Women’s Studies offered at University College of Arts, Commerce & Law, Physical Education offered at University College of Physical Education & Sports Sciences and Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Electronics & Inst. Tech, Environmental Sciences, Food & Nutritional Sciences, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology offered at University College of Sciences for the academic year 2013-14.

Eligibility Conditions

For Full-Time M.Phil. Program

• Candidates must have passed master’s degree of this university or any other recognized university in the concerned or related subject. They must secure not less than 55 per cent of marks. However, in case of SC and ST candidates, a relaxation of 5 per cent of marks is permitted.

For Part-Time M.Phil. Program

• Candidates must have passed master’s degree of this university or any other recognized university in the concerned or related subject. They must secure not less than 55 per cent of marks. However, in case of SC and ST candidates, a relaxation of 5 per cent of marks is permitted.

How to Apply

• Applicants can download the application form from university website and enclose a demand draft for Rs.1000 (non refundable) drawn in favor of Director, Directorate of Admissions, payable at Andhra Bank, ANU Campus Branch (Code No. 1508) or State Bank of India, NU Campus Branch (Code No. 4793).
  
  
• Applicant should invariably write his/her name and address on the reverse side of the DD (DD’s drawn on another banks other than mentioned above are not acceptable).

Selection Procedure

• The selection for admission shall be based on the rank obtained in the ANURCET-2013 entrance test.

• With DD Rs.1000: 11^th Nov, 2013 (Monday)
• With late fee of Rs.500 (Rs.1000 + Rs.500): 18^th Nov, 2013 (Monday)
• Date of ANURCET-2013 (tentative) examination: 27^th Nov, 2013 (Wednesday) to 30^th Nov, 2013 (Saturday)
