Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi Invites Applications for Admission into PhD, M.Phil. and Diploma programmes

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for conducting PG Entrance Examination 2014 for admission into its PhD, M.Phil. and Diploma programmes commencing from 1^st May, 2014.

Eligibility Conditions

For Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology

• First Class Masters degree in Psychology regular course or M.Phil. in Medical and Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology of any recognized University, for 3 years and 2 years course respectively.

For M.Phil in Clinical Psychology

• MA/M.Sc. in Psychology regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC in the aggregate.

For M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work

• MA in Sociology or Master in Social Work regular course of a recognized University with minimum 55% marks for UR and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC in the aggregate.

Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing

• ‘A’ Grade Certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
• Experience: Two years experience as Staff Nurse.

• The application form has to be submitted online through the official Central Institute of Psychiatry website.

Application Fees

• The application fee of Rs.400 for unreserved candidate, OBC, and Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates has to be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi payable at Ranchi.
